Ed yelled, “I need help!” “My back just went out!” Millicent,

Dillard’s, jolted awake from her reverie. Stooped over and barely
able to move, Ed looked pitiful.

Millicent did not know how to straighten him out so he could walk upright. But, she knew she needed help. She called her son, Dale, and asked him to come to the mall – Dad had pulled out his back.
